The Manhattan Bridge is much more pleasant to walk across than the Brooklyn Bridge -- so many fewer people and a much better view. Unfortunately the trains going across the bridge every few minutes can be a bit jarring, and it can be a bit difficult to reach the Brooklyn entrance to the bridge, but otherwise than that, it's a nice walk.
