Y2Julio Posted September 16, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 16, 2009 FYI, High-Definition only applies to videos not photos. So none of these are "HD" photos. B)

Joe Posted September 16, 2009 Share #18 Posted September 16, 2009 <marketing BS removed> "HD" is a moniker that refers to 720p/1080i/1080p video. Of course, the term means nothing on it's own...you have to use it in relation to the 1950's-era NTSC television standard which called for 480i video. Despite what you may believe (and what Kodak spoon-feeds you), your camera does not output "HD photos". That is utter garbage. Tell me, what is the threshold between "SD photo" and "HD photo"? 6MP? 8MP? 10MP? 12MP?

Grand Concourse Posted September 16, 2009 Share #21 Posted September 16, 2009 Thx and wat refresh rate? Not sure, something to do with taking pics of the LED sign and how hard it sometimes is to get the full circle than to have parts of the circle 'blacked out'. MattTrain Posted September 16, 2009 Share #22 Posted September 16, 2009 Nice shots buddy! Your video of the R160A trains do raise one problem, and that's the fact that the (J)'s don't have a FIND programmed to and from Metropolitan Avenue. Here's what I think the (J)'s announcements would say if it was programmed to run on the to/from Met Avenue. This is a Queens-Bound train, via the line. The Next Stop is Central Avenue. This is a Metropolitan Avenue bound train via the line. The Next Stop is Forest Avenue. and going to Broad Street: This is a Brooklyn bound local train via the line. The Next Stop is Seneca Avenue. This is a Manhattan bound train via the line. The Next Stop is Myrtle Avenue Broadway. In my opinion, if all else fails, name the (J)s into a . It says 14.2MP [4:3] 12.6MP[3:2] 10.7MP[16:9] 5,0MP[4:3] and goes down to 1.2MP... Most likly the MP and size changes, which it does. Im guessing HD Photo means viewing the Image in HD size? ______________ @S78 via Hylan/trainfan22 thx!

Amtrak7 Posted September 17, 2009 Share #25 Posted September 17, 2009 Nice! I like how even though the C/R made manual announcements, the display still said 'Jamaica Center'. Do they have an option for 'Listen for announcements'?
