DC Metro trains suspends 'outdoor' service due to blizzard 2/6/10
For only one of the few times in history, the WAMTA aka the DC Metro trains and buses will be changed due to the feb 5/6, 2010 blizzard. Bus service ended tonight at 9pm until the end of the blizzard.
In addition on Saturday 2/6/10, all WMATA bus service in Washington, and the nearby towns in Virgina and Maryland will be suspended. Also all DC Metro trains will only operate at underground stations mainly in the city of Washington. WWW.WJLA.COM http://www.wmata.com/about_metro/new...ReleaseID=4285 |

Maybe a mistype lol . However seriously if the predictions are correct, this will be the biggest blizzard in that city/region's history. Sometimes the national captial area goes 2-3 full winter seasons without seeing any snow.On serious matter i hope yuki is ok since i believe he went to DC today 2/5/10. He supposed to being going home to NYC at Midnight the height of the blizzard. ![]() |

Yuki will be fine, if his bus does not depart tonight they will find accommodations for him & other pax, or put them on a train as they have done in the past. Amfleets have a lot of extra space in them, so adding pax after seats are sold out is not at all an issue. - A |
