Congratulations on your new job! Since you're coming from Queens, just take the

to Hoyt-Schemerhorn, make a right on Schermerhorn, right on Boerum Pl and you're there! It's on the corner of Boerum Pl and Livingston St. You can also take the
to Jay St and it's a very short three block walk.

I had High Blood pressure and since I have a slight amount of cerebal palsy, the doctor who saw me back in JAN ( I wont give her full name her initals are HD and she is TOUGH!! I dont believe she passes more than a few that see her.ANYONE who has had her for the medical interview knows what I am talking about)Kept insisting I had Vertigo. She sent me to a Neurologist recommened by the TA where HE recommended I get a crainal MRI and test done by an ENT,one of which ironiclly made me dizzy and nauseous.
She also thought I was not mentally stable for the job because she said I was Obsessive/Compulsive,and I was nervous and lacked confidence because I did not give her the eye contact that SHE wanted.I had to see a Psychiatrist recommended by the TA and he passed me with flying colors.
I also had to get a stress/echo test and 2 blood tests.
I went to 180 Livingston Street a total of 13 different times before I was finally accepted last Friday.

be prepared for lots of revisits. you will probably end up restricted before probation is up because the first year is very stressfull.

it means you wont be on a train. you will work the platform untill the mac deems you fit enough to work on a train.

What he is saying the nightmare with the MAC never go away we visit them every year or have you come for revisits if you have on going issues. However as long as you have everything under control and don't let them stress you out then you be fine.

congrats dude!!......just take it all in stride man.........I think the first month in training for me was the most stressful.......the first 7 I think I slept for about 4 hrs a night if I was lucky......I wanted to pass......you won't be dealing with the public while in school car.......so just absorb it all in and relax.....on the way bring a Walkman and listen to your favorite music.....block everything else out......no distractions and you will be fine!!! good luck!!
