Q101 E Midtown Posted March 17, 2012 Share #4 Posted March 17, 2012 I wonder how many people tried to get on through the back when they saw the +SBS bus on the M60. Nice. And the Prevost on the X31 looks so cool.

MHV9218 Posted March 17, 2012 Share #7 Posted March 17, 2012 It is significant! Great stuff all around, those first LES catches are fantastic, and it's good to see a few 1998s from Quill surviving at 126th. The crosstown LFSAs look good as always, and great catches on the decal O7s. 6365 took me by surprise the other day, looks good except for those roof ads. Prevost shots look great; 126 must be a little short if they're sending out SBS LFSAs to the M60, that's definitely not sposed to be happening. Shot of 8064 is a stunner, and it's a surprise they're still repainting EOL O5 CNGs but sure looks good. Nice one of 8750 as well, hope that bus still has a little while to live. So it looks like at the moment Quill is sending a loaner a day and 126th is sending 2-3 to Manhattanville to make service, if you get in the city around 5-6 you're basically bound to see an RTS or something around. Seeing 6742 on the M2 sure took me by surprise, but seeing 9216 on the M1 was even better. Great job as always anyway, good stuff!

I was glad to have rode 5358 & 5263 that day, it seems as if it got one hell of a tune-up since their arrival / return. Takes off and runs really well. I gotta get those loaners soon. Mad I missed 9216, damn!!

DanTheTransitMan Posted March 19, 2012 Share #13 Posted March 19, 2012 Why were there two SBS LFSA's on the M60? Nice Photos btw.

I wish I could answer that question. 1286, 1287, 1262 and 1248 were the 4 LFSAs on the M60 on that day.
Blitz Posted March 19, 2012 Share #15 Posted March 19, 2012 Good catches, although I still don't understand why they are so opposed to running D60's on the M60...
