@ Vintage Soul, I figured as much right after I posted the question. But the M15 to TG? They are gonna have to drop alot more than the M102 to squeeze that route in. Theres about 65 buses on that line.

Yes "OF" is the official abbreviation used by the TA for Mother Clara Hale ("O"ne-hundred "F"ourty-Sixth Street Depot).

Bout damn time. THat bus was always crowded as hell, and I knew 126th used artics, so it really pissed me off.

What does OF stand for.

Has there been any plans to transfer the M102 to MCH Depot since the route ends and start there and will MCH receive lifts for articulated buses?

OF stands for (O)ne (F)orty six street depot. It's what MCH use to be called before they renamed the depot. And I don't know if there are any official plans to move the M102 back to MCH once It's finished, but i assume that they will just take on 126th's routes since It's suppose to close once MCH is up and running. And from what i understand and have seen, the depots that have been as of late are built with enough space to service/repair any kind of bus in the MTA's possesion with the exception of CNG buses.

Some of 126th Street's routes can probably go to other depots, and some other depot's routes can probably end up at MCH. I also hear Amsterdam is reopening as well.

when 126 clouses and mch/of reopens. whats probably going might happen is:

m15,m15sbs and m35, m60 to tg

m101/2, m1,m2,m7 to mch/of

m116, m103 m104 mv

m31 to mgq

also, will ncm/of be able to operate artic?

I see it more like this

M1, M2, M7, M60, M102 to MCH
M101/103, M86, M96/106, M15/SBS to TG
M31 & M79 to MGQ
M116 to MV
M35 & M104 to AMS

M1, M2, M7, M60, M102 to MCH
M101/103, M86, M96/106, M15/SBS to TG
M31 & M79 to MGQ
M116 to MV
M35 & M104 to AMS

My bet is that the M96/M106 will head back to MHV. The M60 can't go back since it's being converted to an artic line, so that's off to MCH. The M116 could definitely go to MHV, since that's split already. But if the 15 and 15SBS go to TU, that's now about 180-185 artics at the depot, and I'm not entirely sure how well that'd fit. You'd have to use the the upper floors, and then god knows where the O7s would go. So those I'd bet could go back to MHV, since the depot is currently operating about 30-40 buses under capacity. As for what happens with AMS, I really don't know. The M1 / M7 could go either way, who really knows.

I don't think TU could handle 180 artics. The only depot that get ls close to that is Gunhill (having about 170 artics). Even if you use the top floor for bus parking, I believe they would top out at what they have now which is about 155 buses.

Anyone knows if MCH will still be Bronx Division or Manhattan?

And is the Bx32 / Bx33 going back there, or staying at the Farm?

I know it's early in the game for this however.
Can M15 & SBS head downtown to MJQ??.. Only reason I'm saying this b/c of a easier deadhead downtown vs being at TG.
I dunno the real count to how many artics TG has currently. But taking in 126 artics + theirs and taking M101/103, M86, M96/106 could be possible overkill.

How about

126's SBS Artics go to MJQ with the M15 SBS, by this time MJQ will have a SBS artic fleet on the M34/34A, so they could use those interchangeably.

126's D60HFs to OHS along with the M35 and M79 from MJQ

MJQ's OGs to MV with the M104..

M1 M7 M60 M102 M116 all to MCH with along with the remainder of 126's fleet.....LOL RTSs back at MCH YAY!.....

I just can't figure out what to do with the M31 maybe it too could fit in a MJQ.
