Old Country Road Starts at Herricks Road and Rockaway Avenue in Garden City/Mineola. Does it have an official end. Some sources say it ends in Melville, at Round Swamp Road. Some say in Dix Hills,at the NY25/ OCR intersection, and some say as far as Riverhead, in Which it uses NY 25 and for a time changes to Middle Country Road then changing back to OCR as it's signed CR-58,and terminates in Doctor's Path/E. Main Street intersections. What is it's official western end, is my Question.

UPDATE: I'm putting a new gallery featuring pictures of buses I shot. Here's the link:http://transitjeopar...te-gallery-pics .To be fully complete, it might take several months,as I have a lot of photos and I am trying to get them all into the gallery (over 1,000). Be patient, enjoy what I have, and come back each day to see more pictures

Acording to Google Maps, it's easter end is at E. Jericho Tpke in Elwood.

To get to this "Middle Country Road," you have to go along Jericho Turnpike. Which is definitely a different street.

Technically, Old Country Road itself starts at Herricks Road / Rockaway Ave. in Herricks, Nassau Co., NY and the east end is @ Jericho Turnpike in South Huntington, Suffolk Co., NY. Despite Middle Country Road bearing a like name with Old Country Road, it's technically two different "through" roads,

your mixing up three different streets. ITs like saying cuz theres a main street here and a main street there theyre somehow connected.

NY 25 is its own connected highway using differnet streets along the way and a few name changes. Suffolk County 58 is its own route, using the name Old Country Road.

The Old Country Road from Herricks to Melville is a different route altogether
