I wonder if Community Board 4 approves to have MegaBus shared bus stops with Carefree Tour on 41st St between 7th Av & Broadway.

It must be tough for all Academy Bus, Express Bus, PeterPan, CoachUSA, PANY&NJ Police Officers to come out from 41st St exit.

Well, CoachUSA and Academy Bus won't complain because it's their company or affiliate. NJ Transit won't complain either because it has no effect on their business, in fact perhaps positive impact. As for the Trailways, Greyhound and Peter Pan, they're gonna complain because it's their competitor.

Port Authority is just acting politically. Plus it's actually not too bad of a location, and it actually is better organized for MegaBus in general.

Carefree Tour is not really such a big operator like MegaBus, so it isn't going to effect much. However I hope this demands are going to get shot down since Inter-City Bus is about to be charged by using Manhattan Streets,,,

Everybody in the South Wing is complaining because it holds everybody up trying to get out. The safety issue is real.....Martz hit a MegaBus passenger who crossed against the light at the exit of PABT on 41st. And quite frankly there are more than enough buses trying to get to the tunnel from the PABT.....we don't need any more company! :P

No NYC Greyline is owned by Twin America LLC (50-50 joint venture with Coach USA and NY Airport Service)

No more Twin America, as the Feds broke it up.

Frankly the bus company, now being MegaBus, is being blamed for idiotic passengers who can't freaking utilize the things they learned in elementary school and that's a safety beyond MegaBus's control. So MegaBus is actually operating safely, plus they controlled the dispatch system pretty effectively and safely so I don't see any safety issues.

The thing is competitors are afraid about competition, it's a total competition and political issue that this thing is being beefed about.

[The safety argument can also be said for NICE Bus and it's Hempstead Tpke. Lines].

Well, Twin America is broken apart, as for StageCoach/CoachUSA and their affiliate/subsidiary Graylines, they won't complain about MegaBus still.

It's basically a First Group & it's affiliate vs. StageCoach & it's affiliates thing so lol at this drama.

So who is getting the new order for Enviro400's? since they were ordered under TwinAmerica. My guess would be Coach USA/Greyline

First Group and StageCoach has been at each other for years trying to steal each other's business

Yep, I am well aware of that, especially Mega and Bolt.
