Thanks Phil. The third shot is at the National World War II Memorial...located between the Washington Monument and the Reflecting Pool. Unfortunately, the pool is quite unreflecting as it's drained and is being rehabbed and upgraded. Not sure when it'll be filled again.

This was the first time i've been to DC and it's actually quite a fun city. I was disappointed at the behavior of some of the schoolchildren at the various war memorials though...

Having a lot of people around isn't always a bad thing, hah.

Cool. I was there in 2008/9, I visited the area around the washington monument, Lincoln memorial and the white house. It is a great place for the monuments and historic buildings. I was fortunate to have gone really early and left early (return road trip home). I am just glad when I went, I didn't have to deal with other people there, namely kids.

The shadows behind Lincoln was a great touch, I didn't even notice it till it was pointed out. Very nice!
