When the Grumman Flexible buses were taken off the streets back on February 8, 1984 and borrowed MCI's 5800-5949 and a demo 5950 and GM 01100 were brought in to serve the Staten Island Express bus service.
If anyone has pictures of these buses that they would like to share and would like to post them up, please do, I would like to see these pictures of these buses that were running on Staten Island express bus lines.

Classics!!!!!!!
And i remember those Grumman (then called "870") buses! they were my favorite when i was a kid (showing my age!)
for the local routes, they were replaced by the GMC and Flxible "new looks" that the 870's and the more successful RTS' were replacing.
