So I spent the past few hours trying to get OpenBVE to run on my Mac. That was a miserable and painful experience. The most I got was one route before that died and all the other routes showed up as blackness. For the minute that it worked, Error's R46 and the the system looked good...before it all went down. Back to MSTS it is.

You probably didn't download mono and SDL.framework. Even if you have the new binary, you need those two things.

I did, I followed all the notes that people on this forum made. I ended up switching it all to Boot Camp and now it runs fine.

I'll try to get some of the R46 on the (Q) to Perth Amboy and the (X)

Ahem, that would be the <X>

From now on, I will be posting updates in this thread about the BVEStation forums.

UPDATE

Mudwrestle has added 3D flipdots to his R32;

Despite the absence of BStyles, work on the R142A continues, credits to NYCTRMAN for this photo;

Last but not least, the R44 BETA is still in progress, DJHammers and his team are on it;

It takes patience.

I need some more lol. I am a fisherman so that helps.

Everyone should get this train if you play BVE: http://www.mediafire...399302cbbo25hav

I used the (F) version, hit 65 @ Grand Avenue, never dropped below 50, then entered Forest Hills doing 57 and stopped perfectly. This train is the definition of awesome.

The R46 and the R160 also have great brakes.

I can't get it to work, the cab and sounds don't work. Please help...

The BETA does not have a cab or sounds. This was released quite a few months ago.
