That's the beauty of the R160. They have programs for reroutes that will probably never happen.
This is a Jamaica - 179th Street bound V train via the F line. The next stop is 21st Street - Queensbridge. Stand clear of the closing doors please.

Exactly. That's what makes crazy R160 signage LESS "foam-worthy" IMOThat's the beauty of the R160. They have programs for reroutes that will probably never happen.

I like how the MTA programming for dramatic reroutes such as
to Far Rock exist, yet a simple programming like
to 168 st or
to South Ferry Don't exist. It makes no sense.

The R160s have the all of the crazy reroutes, but not the R142/As.I like how the MTA programming for dramatic reroutes such as
to Far Rock exist, yet a simple programming like
to 168 st or
to South Ferry Don't exist. It makes no sense.

There are some interesting route options on the 142s, like the 6 to New Lots or Woodlawn or the 5 to Times Sq or South Ferry via 7th Avenue. It's just that there aren't a whole lot of places you can send these trains on the A-Division. That's what limits the amount of line reroute options.
