Ruining their O7's, I see now...

Ruining? Can you please explain how they ruined their bus? Fires can happen at any time and any place at any moment with ANY bus, whether its electrical or some other cause.

Until you start making some sense and post something logical, don't post at all!

Lol so harsh.

The bus in question was Casey Stengel's 6853.

First of all this is why the buses shouldn't go on the highway. The motor can overheat and cause a fire.

So how else can they return? Taking the local roads would take forever, and if they are supposed to survive NYC, they should be able to run anywhere. B103s runs on the Prospect Pkwy for a small stretch, should they be routed to local roads?

Hey for all that, we might as well shuffle all the buses around the city so that any route that has a highway or bridge stretch should use straight diesel buses

Yeah $500k buses basically doing short crosstown routes. No worries about highway stretches there...

Highway stretches wouldn't have a thing to do with the cause though. If that were the case, we wouldnt have had them on the Q44, Q10, M60 and a number of other routes that goes on long, fast stretches for X amount of time. The cause is likely either a leak of hydraulic fluid or an electrical issue.
