overclocked Posted September 4, 2013 Share #1 Posted September 4, 2013 It might not feature some amazing catches, but shooting on all manual using weird hybrid of Nikon dSLR and 1970 Soviet lens is much more fun and challenging. Regular, all digital shots. Both lights are on!? And some new ©harlies The weird hybrid Thanks
realizm Posted September 4, 2013 Share #2 Posted September 4, 2013 I'm amazed at the depth of quality on the subject of focus in a low lighting setting the legacy lens attachment makes for. This one demonstrates it right there. Eye candy right there on this one. major +1. and this one: I'm glad you are experimenting here for some unique and well executed shots. Very entertaining. I'm sorry, but only first 3 are done using the hybrid, the rest are a mix of my regular AFS lens.
realizm Posted September 4, 2013 Share #5 Posted September 4, 2013 Well then they all are well executed shots, no flattery, but I guess by the comparison I can see the difference more clearly. Nethertheless an interesting portfolio you have here and all pretty much high detail shots that will be the envy of even say the gothamist photographers who regularly publish subway news editorials and and stories. Props. Just got home, tired..... lol..

Minato ku Posted September 4, 2013 Share #9 Posted September 4, 2013 That's really great pictures. My favorite is the fourth photo, the train in tunnel arriving in station, despite a low luminosity we can see a lot of detail. I love it.
MHV9218 Posted September 4, 2013 Share #10 Posted September 4, 2013 That kind of depth from the Soviet and it's only a 3.5? Huh. Excellent shots.

mtattrain Posted September 5, 2013 Share #13 Posted September 5, 2013 Very great ones! Though some of the pictures seem to have a dark background, the quality is very crisp and the perspectives you decided to take are really nice!
