Or if it's an R160 on the in 2020 situation where they ran on the , but they was still inspected at Jamaica Yard rather than Pikin. They rotate units like the Shuttle train and park/lay-up the units at 207 St Yard for pull-ins/put-ins, 6 trains at most. 4P3607 Posted November 21, 2023 Share #8103 Posted November 21, 2023 Since late September, the Rockaway Park has been 100% R-179 equipment as incoming R-211s have freed up R-179 sets for use on the Shuttle. However on Thursday November 16th, R-46 set 6046-6047-6049-6048 was placed in service on the Rockaway Park and remained on the line until yesterday (November 20th) of which was swapped with another R46 set in the 596x series. Unfortunately, later in the day someone kicked out the rear cab window and subsequently the R-46 was removed off the line and now the is 100% R-179 equipment once again. The is mixed of R179/211. The R211As Base order is for the 8th Ave CBTC, so the A is home for these. Once the Base Order: 4060-4499 is ordered, then 4500-4989? will come in.
