nostalgia Posted August 1, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 1, 2014 How does the get to the Wall Street Station? Does it go around the South Ferry loop and come out on the Lex Ave side? And then it would have to reverse direction to go to Brooklyn. Flatbush Av-bound trains run via the after Chambers St to Franklin Av Late Nights, 11:45 PM to 5 AM, Mon to Fri, Jul 28 - Aug 1After Chambers St, Flatbush Av-bound trains are rerouted nonstop to the Wall St Station, then run express via the to Franklin Av and resume regular service. No Flatbush Av-bound service at Park Place, Fulton St, Wall St (on William St), Clark, Hoyt,Bergen Sts, Grand Army Plaza and Eastern Pkwy. R142A7565 Posted August 1, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 1, 2014 They make a mistake.... They should of say ( Flatbush Avenue Bound train ) will be re-routed to Lexington Avenue Line between 149 Street Grand Concourse to Atlantic Avenue ... Make sense... While everyone know there is no track connection with & in Fulton Street .. Where they got the idea from lol
Wallyhorse Posted August 1, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 1, 2014 Unless their plan is this: runs normal to Chambers Street, then via the and then to Wall Street (no stops at Rector, South Ferry or Bowling Green northbound), then switching tracks upon entering the Wall Street Station and continuing from there to Flatbush Avenue. That's exactly what it does.
Abba Posted August 1, 2014 Share #5 Posted August 1, 2014 Subway time is not able to handle this reroute.Subway time also can't handle sudden changes (i.e express rerouted to local) but that's a different issue.

paulrivera Posted August 2, 2014 Share #7 Posted August 2, 2014 Subway time is not able to handle this reroute.Subway time also can't handle sudden changes (i.e express rerouted to local) but that's a different issue. At least it can handle the occasions when the or need to change routes in Manhattan. Back to this particular GO: I checked Subway Time the other night and trains were shown as terminating at Wall Street. Lets see what happens when they do this GO in reverse next week...
