Dj Hammers Posted August 2, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2014 I camped out at 145th Street for a VERY long time to catch this move. For the very first time in over 30 years, the R16 and R34 are seen operating! Enjoy, and please subscribe! Arriving at, sitting in, and leaving 145th Street: R40 Slants return to the Concourse Line; the train passes Fordham Road. Note the sparking of the R16's third rail shoe:

Thekilomoney11 Posted August 2, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 2, 2014 I thought the R-40M was coming and it woulda been sweet if the R-11/R-34 was the leader. Definitely gonna see this at Bedford park on sunday
Dj Hammers Posted August 2, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted August 2, 2014 Yeah for some reason the R40M isn't going to be on the trip. As for the order of the train, it's been split up since there's not enough room on a single track for the entire train. Perhaps they will shuffle the cars around. We will see. realizm Posted August 2, 2014 Share #5 Posted August 2, 2014 Oh shit! The slant R40s hauling through! +1. Props my man, props. You know me Mark Quan Ching on facebook. I get it. They are storing the cars in Concourse Yard. Edit: FOAM FOAM FOAM

Union Tpke Posted August 4, 2014 Share #7 Posted August 4, 2014 Really great videos! I loved the fan trip! Really memorable! I thank all the hard working men and women at the Coney Island Overhaul Shop to get these trains running! They deserve a lot of credit.
