ttcsubwayfan Posted August 15, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 15, 2014 I wanted to do a throwback post, but it's Friday, so I'm starting a new trend: Throwback Fridays. There may also be Throwback Mondays, Tuesdays and etc... depending on my mood. Today's images focus on the Winter of 2008-2009 in Toronto. Many older buses were being retired at this time, including GM Classics and New Flyer D40s. ttcsubwayfan Posted August 17, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted August 17, 2014 are there free transfers on toronto's system between buses and bus and subway? Also what would the fair be in USD? And your welcome The fare would be $3 CAD, or $2.75 USD. Most stations offer free transfers between surface routes and the subway. A few stations do not, to see which ones do not go here: https://www.ttc.ca/Subway/interactivemap.jsp and scroll over the station stop. If they do not offer a free transfer the included information will say "Transfer required for connecting to surface routes". I don't know exactly how that works and where the transfer must be obtained from as I've never used such a station in my life. There is a map that indicates the stations without a free transfer with a red "T", but I can't find any up to date ones so the above will have to do. Are you visiting the city?
