B35 via Church Posted August 19, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 19, 2014 - I'm so sick & tired of hearing about who will be the Jets starting QB (I personally don't think it will make a difference)..... Same goes for this new offensive system the Giants got in place.... actin like they're gonna come out w/ some new state-of-the-art offensive scheme or some shit... Like, shut up about that already.... - Why do I get the feeling that Manziel will be the next Ryan Leaf (NFL performance-wise).... Hell, he's not even the frontrunner to start on this lowly Cleveland Browns team.... (I know it's a different sport, but look what that arrogance & cockiness did for that a**hole Bryce Harper) - As long as the Pats are in the AFC east, they're gonna make the playoffs every single year.... rest of that division continues to wallow in mediocrity..... As opposed to the NFC east, where the eagles, giants, and cowboys are all equally... equal (meaning, straddling around being .500) (I'm not buying into the eagles being dominant this year hype).... - None of the NFC North teams are getting any love (mention) so far this preseason... rather odd... That's all I got for now.

B35 via Church Posted August 22, 2014 Share #4 Posted August 22, 2014 Why is breaking news that Johnny football isn't starting for Cleveland? It was pretty much expected... I'm still waiting for the Ryan Leaf-like performance(s) out of Johnny Football ..... From what I've been hearing (not that I'm watching these preseason games, but according to that idiot Mike Lupica, who's radio show comes on during my lunch hr.), he's overthrowing open receivers & hitting receivers in the back of their jersey numbers..... That tells me he's clearly not used to the speed of the game..... Waaaaaay too many slow developing (offensive) plays in college football.... This is why a lot of the dickridden QB in college don't amount to much of anything.....
JubaionBx12+SBS Posted August 22, 2014 Share #5 Posted August 22, 2014 This NFL season bodes to be one of the most unpredictable in recent memory so i'll refrain from posting many thoughts. YankeesPwnMets Posted September 8, 2014 Share #7 Posted September 8, 2014 It almost feels like if the Jets get a 2 possession lead, the game is over with the defense the have. Of course, getting the lead is the hard part for the Jets offense. It still looks like they have some kinks to work out (esp. when it comes to discipline)
Orion VII 4 Life Posted September 8, 2014 Share #8 Posted September 8, 2014 Great second half comeback by the Fins today. (can I get a BOSTON SUCKS?) Looks like it's gonna be a good season, but I always say that when we win week 1 or beat New England. I hope Joe Philbin is a better coach this year, and it's looking like we got a decent team this year (that Moreno was doing great today, and Tannehill also threw a great game) but of course it's the first week. Just great to be back in football season, let's make it good, go Fins!

Around the final minutes of that game it was like Brady just gave up. Quite a few passes that could've been completed there

Trainmaster5 Posted October 6, 2014 Share #18 Posted October 6, 2014 Thankfully I have the NFL Sunday Package from Directv. I love my NY teams (and the Steelers) but this is the first time I'm going to root against one. Can someone explain to me who these guys in the green and white uniforms are? Are they really the J-E-T-S or some JV high school team celebrating Halloween a little early this year ? Those can't be pro players in those uniforms, right? I took one glance at the debacle in San Diego, switched to Peyton and the Broncos and never looked back. Any team that dumps Tebow and Sanchez and gets worse in the process should fold up their tent, fire everyone from the GM on down and look for another line of work. At this rate I'd even have to root for the Patriots when they play the J-E-T-S. This is shaping up to be a disaster for a NY football fan. NY Giants are my last hope. I might have to expand my horizons and inlude the other NY team, the Buffalo Bills. Sad.

Trainmaster5 Posted November 3, 2014 Share #20 Posted November 3, 2014 I see the J-E-T-S are still stinking up the airwaves. That's why I actually watched the Miami Dolphins-Chargers game in it's entirety. I also watched parts of the Dallas-AZ and NE-Denver games so I could see some real football. To cap my day I heard that Mark Sanchez was the winning qb for Philly. See what happens when you get away from the Jets? Maybe Mike Vick should buy a one way ticket out of the place if he values his life. Big Ben and my Steelers kicking it to the Ravens made my night memorable. 6 TD passes by Ben for the second week in a row is something that's never been done before. BTW this was " Mean Joe Greene " night so maybe the present day Steeler "D" had some incentive. Carry on.
YankeesPwnMets Posted November 4, 2014 Share #21 Posted November 4, 2014 The Giants play way too conservatively on offense and they have no running game whatsoever. I like Andre Williams, but he isn't good enough to be a starter. The Giants need Rashad Jennings back asap
46Dover Posted November 14, 2014 Share #22 Posted November 14, 2014 While driving the bus back to Dover from New York via Route 3 West, I drove past MetLife Stadium and the digital billboard read from out of nowhere "FIRE JOHN IDZIK" in New York Jets green. B35 via Church Posted November 16, 2014 Share #23 Posted November 16, 2014 Eli Manning.... FIVE interceptions today.... and are only down by 6 points??? Although the giants defense are actually keeping them in this game in this 4th quarter, they had a chance to take the lead on a 3rd & 4 inside the 10... after 3 straight incomplete fade routes (bechkam jr, randle, donnell), eli throws a ball that was tipped, leading to INT # 5..... Same shit continues to plague this damn team - No real red zone threat... Haven't had one since Plax, which is f*ckin embarrassing. With that said, what does this say about the 49ers.... I mean for this week, yeah, it's looking like a win, but Kaepernick has definitely been knocked back down to earth this season.... --------- I'll add one more thing.... All this talk about the Jets & how much they suck, but I get the feeling that the Jets might end up w/ a better record than the Giants..... I'll LMAO if that happens. YankeesPwnMets Posted November 20, 2014 Share #25 Posted November 20, 2014 I saw the pictures of Adrian Peterson's son. Although I believe children need some old fashioned discipline today, the pics of his son showed that AP went way too far off line. There were some serious cuts and bruises on that kid's leg
