Cait Sith Posted August 29, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 29, 2014 All day S93 Limited? Sweet....no more 53. Amen to that, been dying for this for the longest. I'll be trying out the x21. It'll be nice to see something different in Eltingville and along the South Shore for once.

It'll be nice to see something different in Eltingville and along the South Shore for once. Well the '08 CT's yeah. But true, something different. Still think they could've made a few bus swaps to have the X21 at a south shore depot. Now, if there's demand in the future, they could also implement weekend S93 service. Via Garibaldi 8 Posted August 29, 2014 Share #5 Posted August 29, 2014 Yeah it's good that they're extending the S93... Also, the X10 finally gets some more service improvements on Sundays... Runs slightly later to Manhattan and receives half hour service at points or the day and evening.
Fresh Pond Posted August 29, 2014 Share #6 Posted August 29, 2014 I love how they extended the hours of the S59 after the fact that my brother and niece moved from off the line lol

Doesn't matter what kind of swapping you can do, Charleston has no room and Yukon can hardly make any service. Also, the deadhead from Eltingville to Castleton isn't THAT long either. Depending on the route, the DH is no longer than 20 minutes pending traffic.

Most of the island can be reached in 15-20 minutes with the right driver who knows the short cuts... That's something most folks don't know.... As you said the traffic is key... TrainFanInfinity Posted August 29, 2014 Share #14 Posted August 29, 2014 I'm gonna be one using that M12, goes straight to school. Also why does the M104 still have 42nd Street as part of it's name? It's been (3 or 5) years since that changed.

NYSubwayBuff Posted August 29, 2014 Share #16 Posted August 29, 2014 I doubt the M12 is going to have that much success as projected especially with such high headways
Q43LTD Posted August 29, 2014 Share #17 Posted August 29, 2014 I see on the Q111 schedule, they got rid of the Rochdale short trips...
BM5 via Woodhaven Posted August 29, 2014 Author Share #18 Posted August 29, 2014 As for the Q46 schedule change, it might be that 4:24 PM Limited trip. IIRC, the first Q46 Limited trip used to be at 4:30 PM to eastern Queens. Now its the second LIMITED trip.
Q43LTD Posted August 29, 2014 Share #19 Posted August 29, 2014 The Q46 limited should start an hour earlier
Rick44 Posted August 29, 2014 Share #20 Posted August 29, 2014 They messed up the B13 map on the schedule, they cut out the loop around Vandalia and Erskine, and that's not actually getting cut. The Q8 has the right travel path for the B13 (and the 8, obviously).
