ConcourseExp Posted August 29, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 29, 2014 Can someone try to make a new fantasy map like the one in 2012 and 2013,but with more routes and lines with different colors and make lines in places in The Bronx and Brooklyn? Union Tpke Posted August 29, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 29, 2014 there have been a surge of people like this in the last month!
TrainFanInfinity Posted August 30, 2014 Share #4 Posted August 30, 2014 The other person just made a topic asking basically the same exact thing as you. It's up to people whether they want to make one or not. If you want to see a fantasy map with all the things you just said, why don't you just make your own?? (Would copy and paste the dead horse but I'm on mobile.)
Kamen Rider Posted August 31, 2014 Share #5 Posted August 31, 2014 There is a blank version of the map from NYCsubway.org. Download that and do it yourself. It's not hard.
CenSin Posted September 1, 2014 Share #6 Posted September 1, 2014 There is a blank version of the map from NYCsubway.org. Download that and do it yourself. It's not hard. Actually, it is. The most problematic would be moving the text out of the way for additional routes, getting the right fonts for the bullets, and skewing new lines to match the distorted streets of The Map. I ran into a lot of problems during my first attempt at editing The Map. Even though this was clearly an edit (given the differences in font and size throughout the map), nothing else produced comes closer to imitating the real thing. Quill Depot Posted September 5, 2014 Share #8 Posted September 5, 2014 Also, google maps has its own map maker, where you can draw lines and place stops with pins. All you need is the Transit box checked for existing lines.
