A build I've been working on the past couple of days, still waiting on the graphics card to come in. Getting alright temps, around 24-27C idle, haven't tested on load yet though. Still might think about repasting as the installation of the cooler was a pain in the ass process and wasn't satisfied. Cable management could be better, I was slightly in a rush to finish it up. Quill Depot Posted October 25, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 25, 2014 Nice I should take a pic of mine when I get home! I used an AMD APU because I didn't have fancy graphical needs nor do I now. I used the stock fans and it stayed pretty quiet and cool. Which case is that? EDIT: I could also do a better on the cable management, and dust off some stuff. peacemak3r Posted October 27, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted October 27, 2014 It's an ASUS Z97M-Plus actually paired with the i5-4690K. Everything is still stock at the moment and with the current setup, I'm idling at an average 21-23C now. I haven't tested the load temps yet as I'm still waiting on my GTX 970 to arrive. (Delayed from NCIX due to a glitch on the website.) I'm on his forums but I barely post there. I post more on Tom's Hardware and Overclock.net.
