Orion VII 4 Life Posted October 28, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 28, 2014 Great stuff and nice to see we're testing an electric bus that isn't cheap Made in China crap. Now bring on the XE40!
BM5 via Woodhaven Posted October 28, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 28, 2014 What is this we have here (honest question).... I will say, that the inside looks somewhat more spacious than the NG's. Great pics.

Great pics. I thought the vinyl wrap would answer that question. In short, another demo.
4P3607 Posted October 28, 2014 Share #5 Posted October 28, 2014 Nice Pictures. The back of the bus looks a lot older than it should be though.
QM1to6Ave Posted October 28, 2014 Share #6 Posted October 28, 2014 Nice Pictures. The back of the bus looks a lot older than it should be though. I was thinking the same thing. It looks like the back of a Winnebago from the 90's

LTA1992 Posted October 28, 2014 Share #8 Posted October 28, 2014 This was my starter bus in Cities in Motion 2 when my systems are still new with low patronage.
Via Garibaldi 8 Posted October 28, 2014 Share #9 Posted October 28, 2014 That bus is hideous, but if it's Made in USA or Made in North America, at least it'll be made here and creates jobs for Americans, so I support that.
Culver Posted October 29, 2014 Share #10 Posted October 29, 2014 Hopefully it does well. I like their quick-charge system, too. Much prefer this to BYD being bought by the MTA, for numerous reasons.
TrainFanInfinity Posted October 29, 2014 Share #11 Posted October 29, 2014 Well at least the M42 I take every day.
HSRR Posted October 30, 2014 Share #12 Posted October 30, 2014 I was wondering what was taking Proterra so long to get a demo bus to the MTA. The bus is already in production and service in canada and in california.I actually liked the old front end, this new one looks to LFS to me. I'm for what bus works the best either this or BYD. I don't reward mediocrity just because it's made in my country or the color of someone's skin.

Speaking of which, they've arrived in Chicago. Let's see how they do out there. what is tha bus? I would've thought the vinyl wrap would've answered that question....it's a battery-electric bus from Proterra.
