Kamen Rider Posted November 26, 2014 Share #6 Posted November 26, 2014 Thanks to Mayor Bloomberg.... They only knew the storm would hit the day before, which I remind you was Christmas, and they could not know how serious it would be as it hit until it actually hit. Yeah, but wasn't there some kind of issue going on with the DSNY labor unions at the time?

Kamen Rider Posted November 26, 2014 Share #9 Posted November 26, 2014 Yeah, but wasn't there some kind of issue going on with the DSNY labor unions at the time? How is it Bloomberg's fault then if the DSNY workers decided to take out any issues they may have with him in such a way as to risk life and limb of others to prove a point. If anything, if it were true, the union should be charged with negligent homicide for the two people who died after the storm because EMS could not reach them. bobtehpanda Posted November 28, 2014 Share #23 Posted November 28, 2014 Aren't weather related emergencies called from the governor any way and not the mayor? The Governor can declare a State of Emergency with National Guard troopers and such. The mayor can declare whatever he likes, but for the most part he basically directs the people who direct the schools and the plows.
pjbr40 Posted November 28, 2014 Share #24 Posted November 28, 2014 that conductor in the video should be the next union president.
