Many of even the best students in general (and this many sound sexists but it's true, the girls tend to be worse at this) are actually, well, rather... what's the best way to put this. They can't actually think on their own. They live for the herd mentality, and are rather stubborn. They are great at social and political issues, but throw them something real world, you know, something practical, and they go all mental-BSOD on you.
