Waterbury Branch, and even more!

Part 1:

I leave from NY to Waterbury, with a connection at Bridgeport, but not before taking some shots:

So I arrive at Bridgeport, make the connection, take the train up to Waterbury...

....and arrive at the Magnificent Waterbury Train Station:

From here, I take the bus (the thread can be seen here):

Part 2:

I take the train from Waterbury back to Bridgeport, the very same set I took towards Waterbury. The set was almost 20 minutes behind, but only 5 minutes behind.

Anyways, there was a bit of a scare during the boarding process though. He was the last to get out, and there was a gap there. He falls on almost several people, including me. He didnt, but almost fell into the gap (one of his legs, and the other half of his other leg was in the gap. Several of us pull him back out, and he just goes his way, as if nothing happened. He left without a scratch. He looked intoxicated, and I think thats what probably caused his fall (in the most dangerous place possible).

Then, I connect at Bridgeport, and a fog has started to rise:

I got bored after a while, and went to take overhead bus shots. Only one came out somewhat good:

And then we go back to more train pics:

The train arrives, takes five million years to get to Grand Central. This is another bus shots, only this time, from Harlem:

And here's the trainset which I took, with lead car 9513

Awesome Metro-North pictures man. At least those two pictures of the bus came at the right moment. I don't normally use MNRR(last summer was my last time) but I have been on the M7 a lot of times and M3 for the first time(and it was going express to GCT). My brother used to work in Dobbs Ferry and he used to give me free tickets from his job to go visit him. Earlier this year, I went to visit my grandmother in Cambria Heights, Queens and we went to her friend's party in Suffolk County and we got on the M7 on LIRR Ronkonkoma Branch from Jamaica Station to Brentwood Station. It was such a smooth ride.

I haven't used MNRR in a long time (several years I'd even say). I've taken LIRR though. That trip up to Waterbury though was very long, and the connections were a bitch. I love how Waterbury Train Station is away from all of the commercial areas (even though they're not that far), compared to the other stations. It is very interesting to see the way of life there; the only time that intermediate area is peaked with people walking all over the place is when that bi-tri hourly train is coming.
