I would think that the locations and the route(peep run box) would tell the story....it's a JFK bus. After all, BP doesn't operate the Q10. I was asking if there is another bus being tested at BP right now because there are to be more than one test bus. @S78 Yeah I know JFK got those Orion VII's back in 2009 but IMO I think they sound horrible compared to the ones at the other Queens Depots. They look identical, but they actually aren't. There's a lot of differences internally between this unit and the units up where you're at. They're testing the bus for 90 days to see if there's anything they want to change or if anything needs to be fix or so on and so forth, it seems to be the standard for evaluation these days. Seems like they fiddle too much with these buses. Changing the AC units, changing the door configurations... If it ain't broke leave it the way it is. I would use the Novas as an example. I remember those buses having different door configurations on the S53 and they all sucked. The doors took forever to close and God forbid if the doors closed and someone came running to get on. If they don't pass, they send them back, TA gets the money back, the builder technically gets the short end of it unless they sell off the units. Those Designlines that came through (the buses you said on the M1 and M2), were sent back to the builder and the TA got the full cost for the contract right back mostly because they couldn't meet the delivery schedule, a whole lot of technical issues and they were severely delaying that order by at least I think...2-3 years???
