mfs NJT459 Posted August 21, 2015 Share #1 Posted August 21, 2015 PHL to TLV is the only route American/US Airways has to Israel, the route was losing money and never turned a profit "due to competition on NY to TLV routes" http://www.philly.com/philly/business/transportation/20150821_American_Airlines_eliminatingnonstop_flight_from_Philly_to_Israel_in_January.html
QM1to6Ave Posted August 22, 2015 Share #2 Posted August 22, 2015 That's too bad. Philly is a nice place to fly out of (certainly better than JFK).

LIRR 154 Posted August 22, 2015 Share #4 Posted August 22, 2015 As a former US Airways employee, I see this merge going down as one of the worst to happened. The new American has a alot of huge decisions to make in the future with their hubs and routes and with Parker calling the shots, the future is bleak.
