M. Friday 1986 Posted November 16, 2015 Share #1 Posted November 16, 2015 Greetings everyone!!! For those who missed out on this year's "The Preservation Experience" series, no worries! We have one more last-minute event this week! The Historic Railway Coalition, the Car Preservation and Restoration Group, and Friends of the Trolley Museum of New York invite you to join us on this short notice event, as we again head up to the Trolley Museum of New York to repaint the R-16 in silver before Winter sets in. Due to recent events and developments, we need to have the R-16 car 6398 repainted as soon as possible before it becomes too cold to paint outside. More on this shortly. What to expect? Please dress appropriately should you attend. Wear old clothes you do not mind getting paint on. It will be a bit chilly, so please dress warmly. After our work session, join us for some dinner and a slide show! Presented by original members of the Car Preservation and Restoration Group Erik Garcés, Harold Greenblatt, and James McGinty, join them as they share never-before-seen images and videos, as well as their preservation experiences over the last 30 years. A special announcement will also be made after the show. Those who will be in attendance will be among the first ones for this announcement. You definitely won't want to miss this!!
