As for an SBS, I would've thought an M101 SBS would work out better, since there's already the M100 as a local in Upper Manhattan for the most part, 125 Street has an SBS, and there's local service on Lexington Avenue. The feasibility of SBS on 3rd/ Lexington and Amsterdam, is another story.

The M101/102/103 would all be good candidates for SBS. IMO those routes fall right behind the M100 for overcrowding in the Harlem/Washington Heights area. Personally I think all four of those lines could use SBS, but I'd have the M100 try limited runs so the (MTA) can see if SBS is necessary there.
