j express Posted December 30, 2016 Share #526 Posted December 30, 2016 Its better to have 1 switching point than 2 switching points which is why I like the current Broadway service pattern since it reduces the amount of delays. When riding the between 34 St and Times Square it moves faster than when it switches tracks at Prince St. Whitehall St is a better terminal than Canal St since you don't have to clear the train of passengers and running two branches in Manhattan is confusing for the tourists.
