List of stations that allow you to take train in opposite direction w/o leaving station?

It's for when you miss your stop, so you'll know which stations allow you to switch directions w/o paying a fare. Generally the express/major stations allow you to switch, but there are some local stations too, which would save time. Is there an app or website or some kind of resource that lists these stations?

Kickmap denotes these stations if you have an iPhone.

It is useful to know also for changing between the "tails" of two lines that merge, such as on the 8av line going from/to Queens or Northern Manhattan. By 50st you cant cross-over but you can by 42st. I believe the same is true about the 2/3 trains in Harlem. Someone going from Harlem to The Bronx can't switch at 135st. Any other places with this issue in the system?
