Morning commuters sounded off against New Jersey Transit after two of its buses crashed in the Lincoln Tunnel, causing delays along more than 60 bus routes early Monday. A 114 line bus from Plainfield rear-ended a 190-line vehicle from Patterson in the tunnel’s center tube at about 7:35 a.m., an N.J. Transit spokesman said. Both of the buses were bound for the New York Port Authority. The collision led to delays of up to 30 minutes along 65 bus routes into the hub, the spokesman said. There were 46 passengers on board the rear bus and 57 passengers on the other. Port Authority Police say 15 people suffered minor injuries.

I was in that. Got stopped at the Turnpike toll booth right before the bus lane exit. 10 minute delay, then when we started moving again, the buses were diverted to the south tube. Good for the buses, but bad for everyone else.

I feel really bad for the passengers of the two buses and hope for a swift recovery for the injured
