I think you reversed the Bx20 times. The first bus used to be earlier and now it's later (in other words, they cut a round-trip)

The B9 schedule towards Kings Plaza looks approximately the same as it used to.

I've seen those northbound M12s on BusTime. They were there, they just accidentally cut off the schedule 3 hours early. And there used to be 20 minute service heading southbound just after 11AM that was shifted to every 30 minutes. They also reduced the runtime (especially between Columbus Circle and 57th/11th). Buses used to just leave the terminal late in order to avoid arriving early to the following timepoint, so now they made it official.

I'll give you another one: On the S94, they added one earlier trip and one later trip (in other words, you used to be able to catch ferries between 7:15AM and 8:30AM using the S94. Now you can catch ferries between 7:00AM and 8:45AM using the S94). On the midday S44 heading northbound, they basically widened the span of 12 minute service heading northbound (instead of 15 minutes)

In the PM rush, they converted the 4PM S44 from St. George to an S94, and added a 10:01PM S94.

For the S98, they shifted a trip so now you can catch the 6:40AM ferry with an S98, and they added an 8:10PM and 9:30PM S98 from St. George. They also added an 11:01PM short-turn on the S48.

For the S42, AM service heading towards St. George is more frequent (actually, on both the S42 & S52). In exchange, they got rid of some of those double trips on weekend evenings (which weren't really needed, except for the fact that the full-length buses would sometimes arrive to the ferry late and run late on their return trip, so they were a good way of getting people out of the ferry on time)

They added a 6PM S84 from St. George, and slightly more frequent service on the S78 towards St. George in the AM rush (and away from St. George in the PM rush)

The X17J now runs more frequently, not less before 5AM. Basically, they added more X17J service at the expense of the X17C during that hour.

And the biggest thing relating to the X17C on weekends.....they quietly removed the Brooklyn stop due to the fact that they brought back the X28 on weekends (which unfortunately means that the people who used to take it between Brooklyn and SI on weekends are SOL)

Of course, the 5 minute headways are east of 5 Avenue and Bay Ridge still has 10 minute headways <_<

Where are those buses actually starting? I doubt they actually start at 5 Avenue and 60th Street...

The B9 is based out of JG? In that case they just go down 5th Avenue and pull into that stop at 60th Street & 5th Avenue.

I don't take the B12 to the LIRR in the morning everyday, but still, this directly affects me.... For the better.

I can tell you all firsthand (and I believe I've stated as such in at least one post this year on here) that it is not uncommon to see buses around 5am heading towards Lefferts Gardens bunching, or very close to it (2-5 mins apart)..... Service is too frequent around that hour.... There are more buses needed closer to the 6am hour than the 5am hour...

This [would appear to be] incorrect. It is specifically mentioned on page 4 of the bus schedule, effective as of September 4, 2016 that the x17c stops in Bay Ridge on weekends.

There is no mention of discontinuing the stop in any news outlet.

This may be because the X28 weekend service is on a six month trial period.  It makes sense to keep the X17 stop for now in Brooklyn.  The (MTA) noted that it received numerous requests to restore the X28 over the years (including the petitions started by local leaders along with myself) and now we have to use the service to show the (MTA) that we need it and will use it.  The X27 has done fine on weekends, as I have used that on Saturdays and Sundays.

I find it interesting that the route is only scheduled to use 3 buses, you'd think they'd need 4 like most Queens buses do.

Well you also have buses that come directly from the depot or that deadhead from elsewhere.  When I get the X27 deep along Shore Rd (i.e. the first stop), they sometimes will deadhead and come from the Belt Parkway.

every X27 I've ever gotten DH from the Highway

That doesn't make sense given that Southbound the line departs from Shore Rd precisely to do the turnaround. Those buses could simply come down 4th Avenue and turn onto Shore Rd, which I have also seen.

Turtle is correct. Whenever I walk on that pathway alongside the Belt, I always see at least one X27 deadheading and maybe a BM or two.

I don't doubt that he isn't as I've seen it as well while waiting for it on Shore Rd and 4th at that first stop.  Just doesn't sense for them to do that given how the route is set up.  Why not just come down 4th Avenue?

OK, I was looking at the map on page 12, and didn't see a physical diversion to denote the extra stop in Brooklyn, so I assumed they discontinued the diversion. (Looking closer, I see there's a text box on page 12 that indicates that it stops in Brooklyn on weekends)

I guess good news then lol.

It's faster to go on the Belt than via 4th. You also hit more traffic on 4th Avenue.

They come down the Belt and get off at the 4 Av exit, and use the side streets to loop around to get to the first stop.
