Welcome to the first part of "Dealing with the Tube Closures", or "DWTTC" for short. The title well, is suppose to reflect how the QMT tube (Manhattan-bound) is closed only on Saturdays, thus leaving everyone to only go into one lane in each direction, causing a massive backup in each direction. I haven't used the express bus as a result for a hot minute, because I'm not dealing with that BS (this happened unexpectedly towards June last year, and I was insane). So, I'm doing some mini-fanning on some of the local buses throughout the city (mainly the Bronx and Brooklyn routes with CNG's) in the meantime, until they finish the tube work. So unless I start using the express bus for casual trips on Fridays into the city or something, I probably won't be using the express bus for the next three months (which is the slated span of work). Anyways, let's get this started:

Last Week, I decided to take the Bx21 on the full route, from Mott Haven to Westchester Square.

Today, I went to Sunset Park to take the B11 to Midwood. I walk from the (R) to 58 Street and 1 Avenue (I realized I could have gotten off at 59 Street instead of 53 Street, silly me).
