Gun Hill <-----> Kingsbridge

If the Bx33 had to go to Hale, the M35 could possibly move to MHV in order to make way for the Bx33. It makes sense since both routes use the same amount of buses during the day.

Isn't that a little uneven since the M35 uses artics some of the time?

I believe that the Bx33 should come out of one of the Manhattan depots (either hale or MCH), because the very first trip starts in Manhattan, then goes back from Port Morris to Harlem. At night, the very last trip to Port Morris goes back to Harlem (and there is another trip after that). That's how it's operated on weekdays; on weekends, the first and last buses leave from both ends at the same time. It's a much longer DH to WF from there than to MHV or MCH.

Some of the Bx9 can be operated by WF to compensate for the loss of the Bx33, and then to compensate for that loss, some of the M3 can be operated from KB.

How did we get from the Bx41 to the Bx33.

I may not know too much about Manhattan and Bronx ops. However, let's stay on topic.

What fleet swaps will occur when this Bx41 move over to Gun Hill?

More than likely the SBS units will migrate over

Will Gun Hill get Bx41 local also? or local stays with Kingsbridge?

See below

Getting back on topic....

Both the Bx41 local and SBS are departing from KB.

Makes me wonder if there will be any specific fleet swaps other than the SBS Novas to GH.

The artics were not out all today, When I looked out my window at 10 AM this morning, I saw 7364 working the B/44 Select Bus route.

Both the Bronx and Manhattan have large number of artics, so other garages that have 40 foot buses send their replacements when snow or ice is predicted.

A rule of thumb should be "if you live on or near a route that uses artics and snow or ice is mentioned. think foreign equipment.".
