Union Tpke Posted February 24, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 24, 2017 This isn't anything serious. What makes a poster a Hardcore Poster or a Serial Poster. Thanks, I was just curious.
peacemak3r Posted February 24, 2017 Share #2 Posted February 24, 2017 In my opinion, a hardcore poster would be someone who posts everyday on almost every topic constantly. A serial poster would be someone that doesn't have the time to be on the forums 24/7 and answer or contribute to every single post and only posts on threads that are relevant or interesting to the poster. B35 via Church Posted February 26, 2017 Share #3 Posted February 26, 2017 This is something related to you reaching 5k posts, isn't it? In any case, I'd say a hardcore poster is someone that only posts on specific topics, but are absolutely relentless at doing so... e/g... you'll find many of these types making a litany of posts defending ya fav'rite rapper on some urban forum, or (especially) under a youtube video; fanboys or w/e.... {Hell, I'm on a forum right now where there are 3 people that hit the 10k mark this year alone, before this month of February.... IDK how true this next part is, but apparently, with one of those 3 people, someone (apparently, also with a lot of time on his hands) figured out that 8000 something out of 11 thousand something total posts, had something to do with Drake...} ^^ I love how these types alllllll claim to be employed too Anyway, I've never heard of a serial poster, but I guess it'd be someone that posts at irregular intervals.... Union Tpke Posted February 27, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted February 27, 2017 This isn't related to that. I have been labeled a hardcore poster for some time. I saw another user who had the label serial poster, so I was curious.
