Yep so this happened yesterday evening. Due to a sick passenger at Hoyt Street, this (3) Train got rerouted to 149th Street via Lexington Avenue Express.

    • LocationNear a station in Central Queens where three (E) trains terminate late in the AM Rush Hour on weekdays (at 8:27, 9:02, 9:13 from WTC, arriving at my home station at 9:09, 9:44 and 9:56 respectively) and was the terminal for E and EE trains from its opening on December 31, 1936 to April 24, 1937. This station is also home to R160 or R46 layups during the evening and weekend hours.

Spectacular shots!!! I especially love the ones of CPW.

May I ask what camera/post processing settings you use? I can never get anywhere near your level of clarity/color in my subway shots. I always end up shooting in b/w..

Thanks a million, and again, remarkable work.

Something I have never seen in my life nor thought would happen. Great catch this is bizarre! More bizarre than the (M) To Euclid Av and an (A) to 205th St-Norwood a few years back that I have seen personally.

I seen an (A) an R-46 the T/O took the wrong lineup at 125th. I've never seen a © personally via Concourse, memory doesn't go that far back. I am positive because I was on that train that came from the Rock that afternoon
