Casey Stengel. Already, what, 2-3 months in service?

I took that photo for a reason. This one as well:

I was just on the Q32 actually.  It was empty but I took a look around for the short amount of time I was on the bus.  Not too bad... Just newspapers scattered about, but boy this bus above could use a good cleaning.

Frickin' passengers man. We shouldn't be spending more money on shit like this. First, people shouldn't be eating prd esp. Not sunflower seeds, pistachios with shells, peanuts, like anything of that sort or bring a bag to take them off with you. This type of stuff is easily preventable but people being pigs pissing me off. This is why we have bug infestations on some of our buses.

CS has gotten really lazy with cleaning recently, the Artics are usually the dirtiest.

I think it's due to the fact that the Q44's are being used all the time so they have no time to clean them. There's only like 3 of them in the yard during the rush.

Lol you guys act like buses are supposed to be permanently clean. Sorry, you can't get that in New York.

Not saying it shouldn't be managed more, but you can't expect anything nice to last long here.

These buses aren't being cleaned at all, so there's the problem.  A mop and soapy water still works....

The heavy use of the artics on the Q44 combined with the way the passengers treat those things lead to that. The first day 5987 was in service there was half-eaten food and other crap all over the floor. It's a problem with all the buses on the 44, they work from early morning to late evening non-stop. Sadly, it's hard to find a bus that is clean on that line. The only ones to blame are the people who ride it and toss their crap on the floor.

I'm pretty sure the way it works is that the buses get swept everyday after they go back to the depot, but they only get mopped occasionally. When it comes time to do a full mopping, CS usually does a nice job cleaning. They clean off the graffiti on the seats and everything.

That may work, but idk if passengers would even let that happen in a busy Terminal like Jamaica and Flushing.

Two cleaners can knock a bus out in a few minutes.  They do several subway cars fairly quickly when I transfer out in Coney Island. I think anything would be better than nothing.

Well when the buses go on layover, let them do a quick sweep of the bus to ensure that its clean for the next run.

Yeah! it works, But do you know how long that bus been out there?!?!?!? When i work the (7) train via Corona Yard, i see the cleaners cleaning these buses out! They do get cleaned while in the depot.

No, but given how dirty the floor is I'd fine it hard to believe that it had been mopped thoroughly say even a week ago.  The stains look pretty dried up (as in they've been for a while).

I can't believe how dirty the inside of that bus is already. Crazy... Whatever depot that bus is out of, how about using a mop with soap and water... <_<

THANK YOU! Someone notices this sh*t!

Jesus Christ makes me feel like buying Clorox wipes and cleaning the buses myself...
