Not complete, but the vast majority of rollsigns produced from the 1960s (switch from vellum and cloth to mylar) and on. The earliest have no codes, but the MTA has used a pretty similar code system since the late 1960s. Generally 14-81-xxxx. I'm lacking a lot of information for currently used rollsigns and very early rollsigns, but on this list is nearly everything else in between, including some really rare ones. I've added a bunch of these to my own collection recently, but if anybody can contribute ones that are missing, I'm all ears. The "notes" are my own brief descriptions of these signs with any info besides what was already listed. Prior to mylar signs, the cloth ones were undated and the vellum/keystone ones were stamped by the company that produced them (usually the Hunter Illuminated Sign Co.) with a date. That's for another list some other time. On this list is pretty much exactly what was stamped/written on these rollsigns, with a couple things left out occasionally along the way (manufacturers' part numbers, etc.).
