Yes, but it's pretty rare. NICE doesn't really have the funds to purchase new buses to replace older ones, or even perform good maintenance thanks to the severe budget cuts. It's a miracle that they can run a county-wide bus network on a budget of 2 million

Does NICE have an equivalent to Bustime yet, where you can track buses system-wide in real time?

You have to download the transit app and then hover over to NICE territory (or type the route in the search bar) in order to track the buses. It'll only tell you the vehicle locations only.

Better than nothing, I guess...

 

The Hempstead Transit Center also has digital signs installed to show riders when the route is due to arrive at the bays. The only exception are the articulated n6 runs, which stop outside the terminal at Jackson Street due to their length.
