INSIDE THE ARCHIVES
Tue, Dec 3, 12:30pm to 1:30pm
New York Transit Museum
A century ago, much of today's transit system was developed through the Dual Contracts: agreements that dictated the construction, rehabilitation and operation of the rapid transit lines in New York City. Examine photographs from this time of massive construction and expansion across the five boroughs with Archivists Carey Stumm and Desiree Alden, as they provide a peek inside the Museum's extensive permanent collection. Free with Museum Admission.
