MattTrain Posted January 16, 2009 Share #4 Posted January 16, 2009 Oh wow, those R32 signs are so funny. The exterior sign of the using an R32 that reads, 168 Street Manhattan-Jamaica Center/Parsons, Archer. Seriously, is that route actually possible? And the on the inside? Wow. Funny. Your photographs are getting better! :cool:Keep it up.
R62A 1991 Posted January 16, 2009 Share #5 Posted January 16, 2009 Awesome shots! Is the Concourse EXP as slow northbound as it is southbound? Some great stuff that we don't usually see there, even reminiscence of pre-1998 service to Bedford Park!

R62A 1991 Posted January 16, 2009 Share #7 Posted January 16, 2009 I hear you. I woke up super early to ride the Concourse EXP southbound (that's a HELL of a trip from East New York), and I was so disappointed that we got beat consistently with the R40 slant right next to us from station to station. That deterred me from Concourse for a while...

MTR Admiralty Posted January 17, 2009 Share #11 Posted January 17, 2009 Awesome pics! Super clear! Great, you passed by at 110th! (That's my girl's home station) Wow, those rollsigns on the R32 are messed up. I saw something like that, with the F assigned to 168th and Euclid. SevenEleven Posted January 17, 2009 Share #14 Posted January 17, 2009 Awesome pics! Wow, those rollsigns on the R32 are messed up. I saw something like that, with the F assigned to 168th and Euclid. When the had the G.O. over the summer where trains were suspended, the ran over the from 179th to Euclid Ave, and trains were running over the to C.I. Only time I saw a go to Euclid. Anyways, nice pics Mark. Keep them up.
MTR Admiralty Posted January 17, 2009 Share #15 Posted January 17, 2009 When the had the G.O. over the summer where trains were suspended, the ran over the from 179th to Euclid Ave, and trains were running over the to C.I. Only time I saw a go to Euclid. Anyways, nice pics Mark. Keep them up. I remembered that G.O vividly. I had to take the F from Manhattan to Ave U. They were doing Jay Street work. So they made the A local and killed C service. The F stopped at Hoyt. And the G took over Culver and ran 8 cars then. They placed makeshift signs at Hoyt (similar to the ones at QBP with the Q on it) directing passengers to the F line.

R32 3348 Posted January 25, 2009 Share #22 Posted January 25, 2009 OMG, I'm about to try it out and if it works under 800 by 600 it'll save me so much time resizing my photos manually. Thanks for letting me know that!
