  1. Past hour
  2. There does seem to be a glitch, at least for the 8 car units on the Mikey, every time my parter for the day accepts ATO the computer keeps reporting “BIE Alerter” on my screen while under ATO control, despite never dumping the train and my partners all using the alerter correctly.
  3. Automatic Train Operation is now in effect (ATO) in the Queens Korridor all four Lines.... A TSS must "refresh" the TO at Continental then off ya go . Just make sure ya keep pushing that Button every 20 seconds lol... From speaking to a few coworkers that difference is felt... Especially Going SB into Grand on D1 track oh boy ....

  5. Today
  6. Shepherd Av completed! p.s. this was the only pic I could find
  7. It was kinda difficult…5 parts each one timed…just waiting for the results now
  8. The problem AFAIC isn't the general concept of microtransit (which is how the pro-microtransit folks construe the criticism) as much as it is microtransit being used by public transit providers to supplant fixed route services.... Let's just call it for what it is - it's done as a passive, gradual way of cutting bus service.... For discussion's sake I guess, I'll just leave this flowchart here from Jarrett Walker's blog for anyone to ponder where the 10B & 10C falls into this...
  9. If the math is properly done and accounting for a proper spare factor for each route and a full length train, there will be just enough cars for all lines in the B division EXCEPT the , with no leftovers. But if the plans for full length trains is put on hold and transit gets a bit tight with spare factors (reduced), then there will be enough cars for the to be upgraded too (since the has the greatest potential to get rerouted to 6 Av, and they can immediately start CBTC work there to have the in their entirety be CBTC by 2030), leaving the as the only routes to host the SMEE trains
  10. I applied for B/O exam 4615. Any idea how long before they contact you? Also, what are the odds of a new hire getting to work on Staten Island? TIA
  11. The only information right now is that 69th and 52nd street will close anytime in 2024, and 103 Street will close in 2025
  12. Me and a few others have been trying gather attention to the route cuts, so hopefully the "entire" microtransit redesign gets dropped in the end.
  13. 10B/10C service will be eliminated on April 28th. That is the same day that the microtransit zone is going to begin. https://sctbus.org/SCT-On-Demand SMH at all this microtransit craze going on that have all these transit agencies going f**king stupid with it. I can maybe get East Hampton (10B area) as a microtransit zone (and don't have issue with the Southampton one which replaced the 10A), but gutting East Hampton to Montauk fixed-route service? That trip takes quite some time to do (to get to someone either traveling within Montauk, or between East Hampton and Montauk). The round trip will add up, there should have been a fixed route between those two points. Complete joke and disappointing. On a sidenote, I can only imagine the nonsense that will will come out whenever the final Westchester redesign plan comes through which is arguably worse in scale than with Suffolk.
  14. It's 60 questions, might go up to 70 this exam. It's all personality quiz, with a few train schedule questions.
  15. that track diagram was the most annoying part
  16. got 58/60 correct, which puts me at about a 96-97 Im just hoping the list gets established soon and Ill be called before the end of feb next year
