You can make a better contribution to this board, can't you? You're a new poster, right? The V has been dead for, what, 11-12 years, and after all that time you're RIPing it now? IMO, this is a wasted thread and I hope an administrator locks it up!

It's one thing to segue into this. It's another to bring it way out of left field, particularly in a thread not designed for it. (As an aside, this concept has only been a thing while borrowing equipment.)

Don't know why a whole thread was needed for this.

People really need to know when it's quittin time. Too many people in this country live to work. Looks like Andy was justified in skipping town. (We already knew that but I didn't realize someone was literally going to kill themselves.)

That is one of the most detailed track maps I have ever seen. One would have been able to get on a subway train at any neighborhood in the city if this plan was fully realized. This is like levels of expansiveness one would see in Paris, London, Seoul or Tokyo.

Yeah, the gap has been bridged..... The good thing about the American Dream is that godforsaken mall isn't in New York it isn't collar-color discriminative....

Don't overthink it.... It's a ridership grab. There's no story to it; it's nothing more than somebody's f*** up.... Pretty sure there's other mislabeled bus stops throughout the city.

It's not up to deBlasio, it is not up to MTA to make the decision. Cuomo will make the decision.

The overwhelming majority of research on transit demand shows frequency being hugely more determinative of ridership than the size or shape of transit vehicles. Reliability is indeed important, but the is a generally well-run route, and its schedule could actually become much more regular if it ran at frequencies closer to those of the ; the 8tph of peak service has to be slotted in between 11-12tph of , making for uneven scheduled headways.
