Like VG8 says, it's very competitive in NY; thus you should consider going back to school or take up a trade school like Joel suggests.

You honestly need a few things under your belt these days. That's why I dabble in private tutoring and consulting because should I ever not be able to get a job in project management, I have something else to fall back on.
