Not much of a difference. It's still a hazard. I really don't see the point of having them on the local buses. They make more sense on the express buses since those are commuter buses, but all this will do is give local bus riders an excuse to be further distracted and create more delays in people getting off.

^^this guy says my exact sentiments. All of these extra things are going to be annoying for operators, maintainers and passengers in general.

Yeah. I like the wifi but there is no need for USB ports.

On a semi related note the MTA Press Release is so vague, that when I linked it on twitter last night, it gave my friends the impression that these buses would be on their morning B16 the next day...
