I don't know what I was thinking, but i was looking at a 2004 subway map (still during bridge reconstruction) and had an idea for a new line/ service.

The would resume service, operating weekdays from Astoria-Ditmars to Brighton Beach (Queens Lcl, Manhattan/Brooklyn Express) It would run the same hours as the .

The would then be relocated to the Culver Line. It would go to Kings Hwy (peak direction express) Rush Hour/Midday. Evenings it would terminate at 2 Av.

I've overheard some passengers complaining that since the fare hike, one can't get the 2 free transfers by MetroCard anymore. Any confirmations of that?

So NICE fare is $2.25 still, ok. And the 3 transfers within NICE is confirmed, yes?

How feasible would the N50 to Hicksville and a transfer to the N87 to JB be for you?

Much easier would just have the n45 extended to Newbridge Pool. That'd be great.

I'm tempted to take the n88 to JB but there's 2 Problems:

A) n51 -> n19 -> n88 is $10.00 round trip (NICE went to $2.50, right?)

B) not taking my bike (call it prejudice, but not taking a chance)

C) a bit too far to walk from Merrick to Freeport LIRR.

Guess i'll just take the car...

Just to prove how much of a failure nice is. I was at hillside ave and Francis Lewis blvd, I got there at 4:10. Waited and buses no show, 3 n6x buses passed at 4:35 and 1 at 4:40 but no local till 5:15... Wow horrible then 2 buses showed up. For a whole hour. Kidding me right?? We got to new Hyde park road and picked up 50 people. This was horrendous. I've heard the horror stories from other people but tonight I've experienced what many people are telling me its a daily struggle.

 

Obviously these people failed Social Studies, because in 1861, secession didn't work.

One thing I wsh NICE would do is get rid of the N6 Limited (do they even have a limited anymore) as well as re-structure the N22 family.

@CDTA Your school sucks more that anything i've seen. Worst I have was my elementary school website filter that blocked youtube, wikipedia, and google images... stupid sh*t was easy as cake to get around too.
