Astoria Ditmars Boulevard to Atlantic Avenue 2. Kings Hwy Brighton Line Station and 59 street 4 Avenue IS SUSPENDED runs from 59-95 streets extended to Newkirk Plaza Trains can't operate along 60 street and Broadway. Only the Southern Tracks of the ManhattanBridge are passable
  3. operates between 207 and Euclid. The Rockaway Park Shuttle terminates at Howard Beach. Lefferts Boulevard Branch customers can use the Q112 which is extended to Euclid Avenue station. IS SUSPENDED. runs from Jackson Heights- Roosevelt Avenue or 168 street Washington Heights and WTC (Queens Branch) or Euclid Avenue (168 Branch). (S)runs between Jamaica Center to Union Turnpike, then to Jamaica 179 street, then to 71 Avenue runs in two sections 1.Bewteen Jamaica Center and 111 street 2.Beween Cypress Hills and Broad Street runs to Jackson Heights Only runs to Jackson Heights starts at Broadway Junction (Q32) extended to Fl.ushing Main Street runs from 74 street to Times Square. Next: A train derails at the Manhattan Bridge Overpass making tracks only passable.
  4. Well since the N43 was created the N45 performed at low levels. Before that the N45 was very full. The N43 actually has ridership since it connects Roosevelt Field to Freeport in One Route. Rather than taking the N40/N41 to the N22.
  5. Well lets just see what happens when the R188 come out and let's see what the MTA does. The R188'S however are made for the sole purpose to replace the R62.
  6. OK. Three of these trains can still run in one section though.
  7. ( extended to 168 street SUSPENDED (D)Normal operates via 6 Avenue Express from W.4 street to 42 street operates via 8 Avenue Next: There is a bomb that exploded at Atlantic Avenue and Another on the Manny-B. Reroute all services with one shuttle bus running only.
  8. Well: five less trains per hour or a train via local every 6 minutes five less trains per hour or a train via local every 8 minutes service between Forest Hills and Myrtle Avenue 62 minutes service every 15 minutes
  9. operate via Broadway via 63 street to Whitehall Street Service every hour on 6 Avenue, service at regular frequencies along Crosstown (M)Service Every 30 minutes From Forest Hills to Myrtle Avenue NEXT: The flushing Line collapsed from the strech of 72-77 streets. The Roosevelt Avenue Station is heavily damaged. Only the Queens Bound Express Track can be used on the IND Queens Boulevard Line. Reroute ALL modes of transportation around the strech (i.e Buses and Subways). I know this is for subways only but lets see what you can come up with.
  10. Another Idea would be : N48 Rush Hours to Planview, Middays to Jericho Quad, and evenings and Weekends to Broadway Mall N49 Extended to Walt Whitman Mall. It's benefital to Riders along Front St looking for a way to Northern Suffolk N50 Rush Hours extended to Jericho Quad, middays and evenings regular service.
  11. The N50 can be extended to Planview during rush hours to keep it alive, while the N78 would merge with the N50.
  12. I think NICE wants to convert those short trips into 78's or extend it to WWM People at New Cassel can now wait less for a bus along Old Country Road. Originally N78/N79 frequency:30 minutes New N24 frequencies:15 minutes
  13. There are many ways to order service Think of my scenario as a Bdwy/Lex/6/7/8 Avenue Fastrack at the same time One Way service terminates at 14 street service terminates at 14 street terminates at 42 street Alignment at 14 street uses the downtown tracks to relay USES THE UPTOWN TRACKS TO RELAY service terminates at BB with downtown service running local south of 42 street. service operates between BB via routing north of E.180 ST and local uptown south of 42 street service terminates at 42 Street (N)Operates in two sections 1.Between Forest Hills-71 and 34 street 2. Between Atlantic Avenue and Coney Island service suspended North of Prospect Park SUSPENDED operates in two sections 1. Between Chambers Street and Jamaica 2. Between Atlantic Pacific Street and Bay Ridge-95 street operates as a shuttle IS SUSPENDED operates in 2 sections 1.Between 205 street and 2 Avenue via 6 Avenue Local 2.Between Atlantic Avenue and Coney Island operates via Crosstown operates via 6 Avenue to 2 Avenue Suspended operates along the between Jay Street and W.4 street ©SUSPENDED Now for your scenario NX: operates in two sections 1.Beween 205 street and 34 street-6 Avenue 2. Between 34 street-Broadway and Coney Island Service operates below 34 street only Extended via Local to Astoria Rerouted to Astoria and operates via Manhattan Bridge NOTE: Some service begin/end at Whitehall Street towards Bay Ridge to Bay Ridge Off-Peak Hours <R> via Nassau during rush hours to Chambers Street B operates via Broadway and 63 street to Forest Hills
  14. When anyone can, I want two buses *Orion VII CNG 7701 with MTA New York City Bus Signage signed as a Q111 sign with Jamaica Depot Stickers *Orion VII CNG 7786 with MTA NewYork City Bus Signange signed as a Q112 to Broadway Junction with Jackie Gleason Stickers Would really appreciated;)
  15. True. At Hicksville, most riders get off the bus. Then other people get on the bus. At the most 5 people stay on the bus at Hicksville. Same for the Q47. Most people just off the bus at Roosevelt Avenue to take the train. At max 4 riders stay on the bus. I wonder if the N23 will be interlined with another bus line or if it will not interline anymore since the N23 is interlined with the N79 currently. The N79 was made at first to serve areas without the LIRR to connect to the LIRR. That's bascially why NICE and SCT are about.
  16. Manny-B and the WTC area is impassible This is how service is suspended All stops near Manny-B and WTC are closed
  17. Lets not brag about ppl liking ideas and just stick to the topic. I do think NICE will install new NICE stops along the N23/N27,N17,N43,N22/a/l/x,N24, and N15/N16 routes. I think the N74 should be eliminated completly
  18. Runs in 3 sections: 1:Local from 125-207 street 2:Local From 59 street via 6 Avenue to 2 Avenue 3:Local From Jay Street to the Rockaways (©is Suspended operates in 4 sections 1:From 205 street to 125 street 2:From 59 street to Euclid via 8 Avenue Express 3.From Jamaica 179 street via 53 street to 2 Avenue via Queens Boulevard Local/6 Avenue Express 4: Forest Hills-71 Avenue via Broadway Local-4 Avenue to Coney Island operates to Lefferts Blvd Operates regular but via 53 street (M)Operates to 59 street operates to Astoria Blvd operates between Coney Island and 21 STREET-Queensbridge via 6 Avenue with limited Brighton Express Service (Q101) rerouted to serve 21 street Queensbridge then Queens Plaza via 37/38 Avenues and 21 street as well as Queens Plaza Foamers Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. The problem is nice promised the public no services eliminated, but on top of that they are creating more services. One example is thee N22. If NICE puts new service, then well this will be the following N22: Local Service Between Hicksville and Jamaica N22A:Local service via Roosevelt Field and Jamaica N22L: Limited Service between Hicksville and Jamaica N22X: Operates between Hicksville and and Jamaica Non-stop from Roosevelt Field to 179 street subway station Thats just overkill for one route number, dont you think?
  20. Is the terminating at 2 Avenue because of the track configuration south of W.4 street
  21. To be honest an n8 extension to Hempstead Transit Center would be a good option.I guess no one though of it, but the loop will make nice lose $. Let's say someone will get on the n8 loop at the first stop, they ask for a transfer at Macy's, instead of at the first stop. Then, that person shops for an hour. That person if smart will cross the street to take the n2 loop which will get him to the stop he/she got on. All in less than 2 hours. With the Metrocard transfer, you can use a transfer from one route to another. The problem is that there will be two routes copying each other and these people will spend less money by using the bus loop which will make nice lose money. Comments?
