They actually got suburban seat buses? Those are gonna go to hell quick...
But maybe this could be NICE trying to set up some kind of actual express bus service?

The last one they had buses coming all the way from Yukon and not even just MCIs.

The plates go in the name of the city/county/"main" agency, not a sub agency of the government like NICE or the DOT. All plates for city agencies say "City of NY" and all plates for the MTA have MTA on them, whether its LIRR NYCT MTA Bus or whoever.Cali plates off , temp tag in the window like the new New Flyers, these new plates are hard to get... Btw while on the subject I HATE the new plates on the buses. County of Nassau on the left and Nassau (the county on the bottom of the plate similar to how Florida puts the county on the bottom. I was hoping NICE or Nassau Inter County Express on the left side of the plate.
It's funny how at first NYCTs plates came as "City of NY" then they finally got it's a MTA not city agency and gave them MTA plates.

The "City of NY" plates some of our new buses got are all now switched out for MTA plates AFAIK.

But Mangano promised Veolia would do the same job as the MTA or more for $2 million a year!

Salem County Transit which operates the 468 has 4 nabis 6185-6188 and 2 novas as spares. I will get the numbers of the 2 novas when i get a chance.
Hmm... does Transdev or Academy still have any left?

Weird but the X17 is being run out of Yukon right now. Charleston seems to be open and running the S74 & S78.

Looks like MHV is helping with the M15, every bus out on it is MHV. Could be put ins off the M5 at the ferry IDK

I hear NJ plans to keep service suspended through Thursday. Gonna be interesting to see what the MTA does for us into tomorrow...

Very curious to see how TU will handle the snowstorm. Given that the depot is entirely artics, and we'll likely see all artics taken off the roads, we're gonna have some interesting buses on the 15 and 101/2/3.
I can see MCH & Quill doing some put ins, question is how much can they put in? Last year there was days when 126 couldn't put out that many artics at all and the local M15 was nearly all RTS & hybrid with a sh*tload of missing SBSes.

This isn't the first time a D60 appeared on the M60 SBS?
126 would use 1200s but never the D60s. Now with MJQ anything goes, the 5800s from the M34 are out there in full force and they run the 5900s on the M34 too.

Anyone know the exact runs Castleton has on the X17A?

Why are we fighting over this, holy shit!
It's a NYC subsidized line that happens to go into Yonkers but is meant to primarily serve the Bronx (inb4 Riverdale is not the Bronx), otherwise the city wouldn't be paying for it.

I don't think they're gonna put the artics away during the snow this year. Everything looks usual save for a few Orion Vs & hybrids on the Q44 and Q10 that happen every day anyway.

Point is they lasted longer (not on our streets) than the 6000s and their retirement started way before the first 6000s started going from Grand Ave to scrapThose are going too, most are gone already

Yeah everyone's gonna be like "oh the Bee Lines are 18 and still here why are the 6000s going"...remember they were at BEE LINE most of their life and Liberty Lines takes VERY good care of their buses. The 6000s were here their whole lives and for the most part not at our best depots either.

Not quite sure but if I have to take a guess, it be yes
I gotta check that out next time I'm out there, getting home with an express bus to Newark Penn then PATH sounds much better than a crush loaded 111 and that tunnel traffic...

So I'm on 7212 on the 64H right now and it's making all kinds of noise specially some crazy whistling noise up front (I'm thinking the AC unit). The op and dispatchers at Old Bridge wanted to have the mechanics there look at it and take one of the standby buses if they had to and one of the higher up guys told him to be on his way and keep the bus. So now its whistling like hell all the way up the Turnpike.
These DesignLines is GARBAGE. G A R B A G E these foamers can sit here and drool over them all they want but they're not the ones riding. I really hope they let Transit get rid of em, at least when all these MCIs come in just let them sit and rot in the depot...
